Marjan established her floral and reception business, in the United States, in 1990. Prior to establishing her business, while Marjan was preparing for her license d’enseignement, at Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, she had the opportunity to work with top floral designers in France, including Mme. Monique Gautier, floral designer of Festival de Rose de Monaco, and Mme. Margeritte de Marmier, floral designer at the renowned restaurant, Maxim’s de Paris.

 

Since 1990, Marjan and her team have provided their floral decor to hotels and clubs in Chicago and the North Shore including, Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Gwen Luxury Hotel, Trump International Hotel and Tower, The 900 North Michigan Surgical Center, Intercontinental, Park Hyatt, Hyatt Regency North Shore.

In the 1980s, she was invited by the office of State Department (Chicago office) to organize receptions in welcoming foreign dignitaries to America to present a favorable U.S. cultural and civic experience for which she has been creating some of her most exquisite floral decors and table settings.

 

These dignitaries who are coming from Europe, Soviet block countries, Middle East, South America and Africa include advisors to heads of states, government officials, Peace activists, law makers, scientists, and journalists.
